How does condition affect Pokémon card value?

How to apply it
Inspect the front, back, corners, edges, and surface under angled light. Record creases, dents, scratching, whitening, staining, warping, and alterations before choosing a condition lane.
Compare the card only with the same printing and condition. Sparse listings can produce strange prices, so use several observations and lower confidence when the market evidence is thin.
